UX/UI Designer – PROCOM KW is currently searching for an experienced UX/UI Designer for one of our clients in the enterprise software space.UX/UI Designer Job DetailsOur client is seeking a UX/UI Designer to be responsible for the strategy and visual design of multiple websites. The UX/UI Designer will work across both UX and UI, blending skills in customer analysis, design thinking, content development, prototyping and wireframing, testing and iteration with branding and graphic development, UI prototyping, interactivity and animation, and website implementation.This person will be the design/UX subject matter expert with regards to all things Web, Visual Design and CMS. Working cross-functionally across key groups, this role will be highly collaborative and focused on strategy and execution.UX/UI Designer ResponsibilitiesConceptualizing creative ideas to align with marketing strategy and objectives; while conveying those concepts through sketches, user flows, site maps, wireframes, sample pages, clickable prototypes, etc.Collaborating with other designers and internal stakeholders to drive innovation within UX projects and activitiesTesting and improving the website design and user flowsEstablishing design guidelines, standards, and best practicesMaintaining the integrity of websites by enforcing content, design, and accessibility standardsDesigning visual imagery for websites and ensuring they are in line with brandingWorking in a variety of Content Management Systems and A/B testing tools (Optimizely/Episerver, Concrete5, Drupal, etc.)Incorporating new functionalities, UX and interactive features into the websitesPartnering with the eCommerce team, IT/Engineering on QA for deployment of new website featuresPreparing design plans and presenting website structureEnsuring our websites are adaptable and responsive to all device screen sizesPlanning, assigning, and directing the work of othersAssisting in selecting, training, and evaluating team staffBringing an unwavering sense of curiosity, investigative mindset and problem solving to your role and the teamJuggling multiple priorities independently and effectively delivering in a dynamic environmentLearning new tools and working in a fast-paced environmentUX/UI Designer SkillsRequiredBachelor’s degree in a related field such as interactive design, industrial design, or graphic design, or equivalent experience in a related field8+ years of experience in an UX/UI Design roleFamiliarity with web and mobile technologies, responsive design, and their impact on the feasibility of design solutionsExperience designing interactive website experiences for both B2C and B2B audiencesFamiliarity with designing and prototyping tools, primarily FigmaExposure to implementing designs by building web pages in a CMS, as well as the QA involved for responsive behaviorA portfolio of work that demonstrates process/approach, the ability to communicate informed design rationale, and an understanding of design, usability, and research best practicesKnowledge of web accessibility guidelines and standardsStrong analytical skills to promote data driven design decisionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and facilitationAbility to distill complex problems into simple and understandable, yet elegant design solutionsNice to HaveTechnical experience using CSS, HTML and working in a “headless” CMS (Optimizely/EpiServer experience is a huge plus)Familiarity leveraging design systemsExperience with creating human-centered design solutions across multiple platforms to solve complex problemsPractical knowledge of Google Analytics and behavioral analytics tools such as Clicktale or HotJarUX/UI Designer Start DateASAPUX/UI Designer Assignment LengthContract ends March 31, 2023UX/UI Designer LocationCanada – Virtual
