Our Structures Division Coquitlam Ridge Constructors is currently seeking a team-oriented, self-motivated, and dedicated individual to join our operations team as a Structures Superintendent.Applicants must have substantial experience in Bridge Construction with extensive knowledge in all aspects of reinforced concrete works, critical lifting, and a strong understanding of foundations and earthworks.ResponsibilitiesReview contract documents, the scope of work, drawings, and specifications prior to starting a new job site. Identify any variances and submit them to the Construction Manager for RFI.Responsible for the administration and scheduling of day-to-day operations, all aspects of quality controlPrepare and provide layout/construction drawingsCoordinate and schedule Foremen, crew members, and equipment requirementsResponsible for the project financial results, which includes keeping the project budget up to date.Ensure all necessary permits are obtained.Review, verify and integrate job costs in ERP softwarePrepare Daily Quantity Reports (DQR) for monthly progress billing(s)Specific Skills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesSelf-starting, highly motivated, and goal orientated individual with exceptional attention to detailSuperior leadership and communication skillsStrong planning and organizational skillsInterest in bridge construction activities and processesAbility to maintain composure in dealing with stressful situationsFamiliarity with applicable standard specifications (MoTI, MMCD, WorkSafe, and Traffic Management)Ability to read and interpret site plans/blueprints and lookup specifications from MoTI / MMCDHave a working knowledge of construction contracts and terminologyGood Computer Skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project, ERP software & project collaborationDesirable Qualifications and KnowledgeMinimum 5 years of ExperienceRed Seal in CarpentryCCA Gold Seal – SuperintendentConstruction Management FundamentalsLocation:Port Kells OfficeWe offer a competitive benefits package with salary commensurate of experience.
