What- the Role: This is an opportunity to work with highly motivated colleagues in a science-oriented, creative and dynamic environment. This newly created Senior Manager, Recruitment (North America) is leading a large and impressive team of 10+ in Recruitment supporting searches across North America. This team is experienced and broad in supporting varying skill-sets including Corporate, highly scientific, manufacturing, research oriented and other specialized and purpose oriented roles. This company is growing on average by 60 a month and this is globally. This role is more North American focused but truly a great role for someone that enjoys leading teams, working with senior leadership on stakeholder engagement and really focused on that strong branding and employer initiatives. This role will partner with the Senior Leadership team on headcount planning and lead all aspects of Recruitment for North America in supporting the team to achieve deliverables. You will provide hands-on training, coaching and management to the North American team of recruiters, as well as ensure continual improvement in our internal and external recruitment activities. Who- the Candidate: We are looking for a proven Talent Acquisition Leader with at least 5-10 years of progressive and relevant experience- preferably with experience in both agency and internal recruitment (although experience in only one or the other will certainly be considered). Bachelors required at a minimum.Qualified candidates will have experience in leading a team of at least 3 direct reports. Experience with supporting hiring of various skill-sets and partnered with various leaders is highly preferred. Experience leading the operations of a coast-to-coast Canadian recruitment portfolio or global is even better, with a blend of corporate office hiring and regional hiring, is highly preferred.
