We’re seeking a qualified Sales Manager who can help keep this engine running with their own sales skills as well as leadership of a team of driven sales representatives. The ideal sales manager has deep experience with the entire sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and deal closing. We’re looking for a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills — someone with a successful track record who can inspire the same performance in others. The role demands a leader who has a sharp mind and an ability to coach, advise, and motivate sales representatives while building and maintaining a high-performance teamResponsibilities: Manage a team of newly hired Account Executives, guiding a team during the stage of early development, and honing in on their skillsAchieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making forecastsAchieve a set of KPIs, driving monetization and growth for the sales teamConduct coaching sessions and provide just-in-time training to AEs on the sales floorManage ad hoc projects, as neededDevelop skills continuously for hiring, training, and leading team members, and ensure that they’re using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectivesIdentify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling themIngredients for Success: Trainer/Coach Mentality: an engaging speaker who can captivate audiences through zoom, in-person facilitation, or coaching. Takes ownership of their team’s success/failures in the classroom and in the field. Will get hands dirty and dig into the root causes of challenges on the sales floor.Leadership & Stakeholder Management: empathetic, clear communication, integrator/community builder, strong stakeholder management, proven track record of collaborating across multiple teams and leading programs from design to executionCommunicator: creative, innovative, strategic, strong written and verbal communication skills, can keep learners engagedProblem Solver: Data-driven, able to analyze sales performance data to drive strategy and decision making3-5 years of Sales management experience requiredExperience working in SaaS/techAt Otter, we promote inclusivity.
