SAFETY. TEAMWORK. CLARITY.BURNCO has a challenging and career building opportunity for an Oracle Cloud ERP Systems Analyst, Supply Chain Management in our Application Services support team. Reporting to our Manager, Business Systems, this role will be primarily located out of our Calgary Head Office* but the ability to work remotely (or under a hybrid arrangement) is also available. As the ideal BURNCO candidate you will have a strong understanding of Oracle’s Cloud ERP platform allowing you to support all Supply Chain and Procurement related modules with a keen awareness that these modules integrate to other areas of BURNCO’s Oracle Cloud environment such as Project Financials and Financials. In this role you will be a key member of the Application Services support team. You will deliver quality daily support, provide technical and system expertise, assess new features/enhancement opportunities, and assist in release management. In addition to the general scope of the role above, you will also be involved in:What You Will Be DoingPartnership & Analysis Act as a trusted Oracle systems advisor and key liaison to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, and other IT teams Assist in the prioritization process of requests Conduct technical and systems analysis to provide relevant and functioning solutions Measurability & Documentation Provide key measures in support of the team’s KPIs and weekly priorities Ensure all relevant system configuration workbooks are updated and readily available Collaborate with team members to maintain an enriched catalog of relevant technical and system process documentation Operational Support Support and enhance the SCM modules within the Oracle Cloud ERP system by resolving issues and applying updates Design technical and functional solutions in collaboration with other systems analysts and development resources Document complete technical specifications as part of implementing change requests Function as the primary resource responsible for system configuration and testing efforts to validate development/configuration against design specifications Develop all testing criteria, scripts, and testing plans required to ensure that system changes and enhancements function as designed Design, document, develop and test reports requests (proficiencies in OTBI, BIP, is highly desirable) Follow Incident Management, Release Management, and Change Management processes in line with best practices Work with vendors and contractors as needed to ensure a highly effective operational support model Participate in change/release management reviews and advisory After hours/on call/change activity required at times You Are Someone Who Is/Has Highly self-motivated, with a sharp attention to detail and a dedication to organization Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Willingly accepts direction to adapt role to organization or team changes Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives Exceptional written and oral communication skills Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills Strong documentation skills Ability to absorb and retain information quickly Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end users Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Ability to work independently under minimal supervision Critical thinking and problem-solving mind set RequirementsWhat We Would Like From YouEducation, Certifications, Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field ITIL certification a plus Successful completion of Oracle’s SCM and Procurement Cloud Certification program would be an asset Thorough understanding of Oracle’s Cloud Platform and proficiency/knowledge in multiple business processes: Procure-to-Pay (PTP) Supply Chain Execution (cost accounting, receipt accounting, inventory management, etc.) 5+ years of Oracle ERP experience focused on SCM and Procurement modules 3+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud ERP/Fusion applications focused on SCM and Procurements Experience in management of Master Data elements (product, item, supplier, etc.) Experience with OIC/integration support Proficient in creating and maintaining OTBI, BIP Reports Experience with Subledger Accounting rules creation and maintenance Experience with multi-org setups (legal entities, operating units) and foreign currency Strong written and oral communication skills Knowledge of IT access controls and change management processes Knowledge of ServiceNow for tracking and managing requests would be an asset Proficient with the support and maintenance of OBN and Punch Out catalogs IMPORTANT: Applicant selected for hire will be required to complete a background check (which includes references & credential verifications).
