Number of Openings: 1Worker Type:PermanentPosition Overview:Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), this individual will have extensive interaction will all levels of the organization and will be responsible for delivering value-added business analysis and meaningful financial/operational reports that lead to insightful, accurate business decision making. Working closely with the Finance team, this person will take a lead role in the development and preparation of all aspects of financial analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, able to prioritize tasks, has excellent communication skills, and brings significant experience in corporate finance.Job Description:Manage the financial forecasting and budgeting framework, such as the company’s capital allocation processManage team in preparation of monthly/quarterly reporting packages including financial statements, variance analysis, and executive commentaryAnalyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposesEngage with regional finance leadership as a proactive, trusted financial business partner and drive business and operational performance to improve financial outcomesProvide meaningful, value-added analysis and actionable recommendations to management to meet key performance targets and improve operational efficienciesRespond to ad hoc business requirements for management providing recommendations / conclusions to managementIdentify and implement process efficiency improvements; continuously improve the budgeting and forecasting processesCoordinate and communicate information between the FP&A team and the rest of the organization, including business units and other finance departments (i.e. Tax, Treasury, Controller’s Group)Manage preparation of presentations to Board of Directors, leadership teams, and third partiesSupervise, develop, and manage the performance of a team of financial analystsExhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments, as neededQualifications:A Bachelors’ degree in Finance or related degree such as a professional designation (CPA, CMA, MBA)5+ years of experience in a large-sized company with international exposure, experience in leadership roles (direct or indirect) within finance departments.Track record building finance processes and models strongly preferredMust be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skillsExcellent time management skills: prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting aggressive deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion datesDemonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacityMust possess a high standard of expectations in quality output Must be eager to develop and grow as a highly motivated team leaderMust have supervisory experience and proven team building skillsMust be highly proficient in Excel and PowerPointExperience in SAP, Tableau, report development software a plusW e are committed to diversity at Finning, to building and sustaining a diverse and inclusive workforce and as an equal opportunity employer we encourage applications from all qualified individuals.
