They are looking for a Manager, Commercial Finance who will be responsible for supporting the management of Sales of daily business operations and financial integrity through preparation of financial plans, verifying assumptions and reporting on the financial execution of approved business plans.Why Work HereWork in a fast, growing and dynamic environment with highly skilled professionalsAmple opportunity for progression and growthContinue your professional development in a hands on role, being close to the operations of the businessBecome part of a people focused cultureAbout the OpportunitySupport the Sales VPs with strategy and tactics around pricing and margin achievement of short term and Long Term Plan (LTP) revenue goalsManage the goals relating to margin and mixEvaluating plans across customers and productsSupport pricing management along with promotional deals / trade spends for all customersProvide data analysis (ROI), tracking and support for client pricing / promotion requestsWin/loss evaluation for insights and early indicators for competitor, customer, and market movesManage aspects of financial planning and reporting management inclusion of annual contract planning, key performance indicator development, financial performance reporting and analysis and financial modeling with a focus on Sales.Maintaining system integrity e.g. Power BI for sales in sync with monthly reported numbers.Partner with sales leadership to deliver sales analyst projects that enable the business to execute its highest priority initiativesForecasting – Analyze and monitor KPI’s to assist sales team achievement of timelines and accuracySales Funnels / Activity Trackers and Budget SupportDevelop and manage tools to effectively execute strategic priorities / corporate initiatives and champion within the organizationProvide revenue outlook and insight as part of long term plan and annual planning / budget processesLeverage data to conduct in-depth analyses across areas of the business (e.g. key customers / regions / product lines) to develop an understanding of key value drivers, identifying improvement areas and growth opportunitiesDevelop relevant KPIs and performance trackingLead, coach and develop colleagues including providing feedback and conducting formal evaluations to ensure the right resource skills, competencies and expertise exists to meet department and agreed-upon business objectives of the companyDrive for harmonization, efficiencies and improvement to ways of working and build a mindset of continuous improvement within the Finance teamAbout YouCPA designation and completion of university degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related fieldMinimum 4-5 years of relevant experience (3 years in an FP&A role)Supervisory or managerial experienceExperience in CPG, Manufacturing, or Retail environment an assetSalary Range$100,000 – $125,000/yearHow to ApplyClick the “Apply Now” button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
