Meal Ticket Brands is in hyper-growth mode and we’re building a team of leaders to help add to the foundation as we scale. A pivotal role on the team is MTB Innovation Executive Chef. In this role, the Innovation Executive Chef for Meal Ticket Brands will be responsible for bringing exciting delivery-only brands to life, from concept to doorstep and every stage in-between. We’re looking for candidates that have endless culinary curiosity and skills (across all genres), a deep respect for process and teamwork, and the ambition to be part of an exciting virtual brand start-up (within an established hospitality group)! Your Mission & Objectives: The primary objective: Ideate, create, document, optimize and execute delivery-only virtual brand menus that set Meal Ticket Brands apart! The MTB Innovation Executive Chef is also responsible for developing the qualification and support process for prospective Kitchen Partners, establishing SOPs and kitchen training documentation, continually improving/updating existing MTB concepts and working closely with Sales, Marketing and Leadership teams to bring exciting new concepts to life. New Concept Development & Culinary Systems • Create framework to identify, evaluate and qualify new concepts (ex: operational simplicity, on-trend, supply-chain scalable, etc.) • High level of technical expertise and understanding of different cooking methods, ingredients, and cuisines • Ability to work in both product development and production environments and create processes that translate between the two to create operational efficiency • Lead the menu testing and concept pipeline, meeting/exceeding assigned KPIs • Ability to balance the creative and the pragmatic while setting the gold standard for culinary innovation and a relentless drive to satisfy customers • Work closely with key suppliers to secure product availability, preferred pricing, and supply optimized concepts • Project management and trend research experience • Responsible for all documentation and SOPs associated with new concept (order/allergy/assembly guides, training documentation, equipment lists, supply chain, etc.) • Documentation and strategy for culinary training (working closely with the MTB Training Team) • Recruit & retain strong culinary talents by building a best-in-class culinary team • Ensure all menus are compliant with regional health requirements, documentation, reporting needs Sales, Marketing & Training Support • Establish the process and framework for Culinary Consultation (sales process) for qualified Kitchen Partner candidates. • Develop framework for concept recommendation for Kitchen Partners (custom report provided to qualified Kitchen Partner prospects) • Work with Marketing team to create culinary training videos: script, step-by-step process, MEP for filming, etc. • Leadership of the Culinary Training team, tasked with onsite training of all new Kitchen Partners • Lead strategy for quality control of kitchen partners (ex: monitor food quality, presentation, ongoing training & troubleshooting) Expectations: • Results-Driven: Passionate about creating concepts that are differentiated, profitable and of the highest quality • Creative & Disciplined: Track record of converting BIG and creative ideas into actionable and measurable deliverables • Resilient & undeterred by rejection, fuelled and motivated to find the next great culinary concept for Meal Ticket Brands • Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs and quotas • Can-Do Attitude and adaptable to changing business needs • Highly disciplined about the culinary development process
