The Event Manager will need sales/marketing experience in the industry to join our innovative, growing company in our Experiential Marketing division. The Event Mgr. will focus on running the brand from a sales and activation capacity. The Event Mgr. will also facilitate multiple roles and responsibilities for the client and agency in order to successfully deliver against his/her responsibilities. Responsibilities:The Event Mgr. will focus 60% of time on sales (90% to be focusing on on-premises, selling, & relationship building)The other 40% of time on experiential (split between sampling, office activations, and guerrilla marketing)Responsible for regular call frequency on assigned retail accounts primarily to sell in new product, increase distribution, grow brand equity, monitor price and build relationshipsBuild business relationships with and present professional sales presentations using sales histories and pitch-booksMaintaining published product freshness standards in assigned retail accounts by monitoring and rotating stocksSell-in new placements and engage with retailers and consumersConceive, Plan and Execute activation events in On-Premise Accounts and other venueResponsible for fulfilling pre-established objectives set by the Brand Manager in the marketMake daily decisions regarding retail inventory levels using past sales history and reportsAttend sales/team meetings as directed by management along with daily interaction with manager to discuss sales issues, competitive activities, and opportunities to maximize sales effortsParticipate in evening and weekend promotions as necessaryOther duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor’s Preferred3+ year’s sales/marketing experience in a growing Experiential Marketing division preferred1+ year’s supervisory/management experience preferredEntrepreneurial experience a plusExperience working successfully without close supervisionStrong proactive sales experience with a sense of urgency to bring in sales today – not by month endExperience team player, competitive and ambitious a must.Highly self-motivated and results oriented with the ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, and be attentive to detailsStrong selling and negotiation skillsProficient in Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)Ability and willingness to work flexible hoursStrong customer service skills and the ability to work in a team environment and strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to understand and read invoices, load sheets, job orders, installation instructions and calculate simple math functions, analyticalAbility to remains focused in stressful situationsBe able and willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and/or holidaysMust have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.Why Mosaic?Consistently voted one of the best places to work, Mosaic North America gives you the opportunity to work with the world’s most beloved brands that you know and use every day.
