Due to continuead growth, the is a need to attract a Director of Developmenet who will become and intergral part of the development team charged with leading projects within its growing inventory of current and future development opportunities. You will be in charge of managing the approval and advancement of ongoing and upcoming developments with responsibility for due filifence, pre-development consultantsm financial proforma updates, municipal and provincial approvales processes, sales and marketing oversight, engagement, coordination with construction management and management of all project stakeholders* Understand strategic long-term development goals with an ability to create, analyze and adapt strategy by coordinating an internal team, consultant team and other to ensure the viability of project throughout the various phases of development. * Professional relationships are critical in this role and include effective, ongoing communications with all the departments involved in development. * Procurement and liaison with various consultants, trades and other stakeholder throughout the entire development process from initial project feasibility, approvals, sales and marketing and constructing through to project completion. * Negotiate agreements related to development* You must be able to provide and take accountability for advice and recommendations resulting from analysis, budgeting and where appropriate modeling to peers and Senior management. * Ensure the financial success of the projects in terms of development, project management, marking and sales, construction management and customer service. * Lead all development management activities of the project and act as the public fase of the company. * Work closely with the internal construction team to ensure schedule expectations are delivered an budgets are managed.
