One of our information technology consulting clients is looking for a Bilingual Program Director Length: Contract term is 2 years with a strong possibility of extension Location: Currently Remote- Montreal, QC Program Director to lead the work of a set of initiatives of a major program in the field of wealth management and insurance for a client in the financial sector. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: – Obtains and synthesizes the information essential to the development of the strategy to increase business capacity – Contributes to the clarification of the overall process of the business sector “from business strategy to the execution of projects/programs” – Develops a comprehensive and articulated roadmap for the capacity development of the project office and for the establishment of a future project office for the modernization program – Raises key issues and actively contributes to their resolution. – Ensures the coherence of all the work carried out by the advisers assigned to the project/program area. – Acts in close collaboration with the executives concerned with the delivery of projects. – Prepares and gives executive presentations to senior management. – Could act as director of the modernization program in its start-up phase (or as director of some portfolios of ongoing projects to strengthen execution and prepare the organization for future challenges) REQUIREMENTS: – Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline – Twenty (20) years of experience in project management including major projects (10,000 pd and more) or modernization programs (50,000 pd and more) – Experience with at least five (5) interventions in diagnostics and recovery plans of major projects (1,000 pd and more) – Experience in setting up or managing project offices – Demonstrated leadership skills with project/delivery managers – Demonstrated ability to pragmatically apply best practices to deliver business value – Fluency in spoken and written French – Functional knowledge of English Please note that this is the most up to date version of job description available at this time – During Client Interview you will receive additional information – variance may apply !
