The HRIS Project Coordinator is primarily responsible in support for successfully managing and delivering a range of complex HRIS application projects from inception to completion! Projects are pre-defined by the HRIS department, considering specifically the implementation of the SAP Success Factors systems and integrations, as such; this role will take direction from the Program Manager.Responsibilities: Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures Support managing the project status reports: including costs reports and project progress Supports in solving problems: Identifying, resolving and escalating any issues and risks as and when required Handling the projects from initiation to closure with a committed goal of delivering on time, on budget, scope complete with a high level of quality and business satisfaction Supports in managing all funds spent in relation to the project, such as maintaining a detailed current view of budget, actuals and forecast numbers; and administrating contracts and invoices Supports in working with Operations and Departmental managers to request and obtain required information and resources to meet deliverables Supports in providing transparency into project health through preparing and publishing schedules, regular status, and current budget and forecasts Supports in facilitating and organizing Planning sessions with the different teams: consultants, testers, data conversion, integration, OCM, etc. making sure team members have a clear understanding of Acceptance Criteria and making sure there is consistency within and between all plans Supports in coordinating the development and execution of required Test Plans to ensure high quality deliverables; this includes support in coordinating large-scale User Acceptance Testing with business users across the Enterprise and gaining acceptance sign-off Supports in managing and documenting any scope changes impacting schedule, budget or quality Supports in monitoring project team timesheet reporting to ensure proper project accounting; Supports in mediating between project collaborators and the project team; Supports in coordinating the project teams’ member (internal and contractors) Support the project cost control, vendor invoices, internal re-bills, project forecast and cost reports. Supports the escalation of issues and risks to appropriate business and technical partners to ensure timely resolution to project impediments. Ensuring that all relevant documents and artifacts are stored in the appropriate project folders (SharePoint) as per ALM portal requirements and are readily available for scrutiny by Program management and Internal Audit Ensuring the execution of all phases of the projects are conducted in a responsible, safe manner ensuring there are no unreasonable risks taken that would jeopardize safety in any way Supports the conducting ad-hoc project audits to confirm they are on track with documentation, budget, schedule and scope to mitigate potential risks to compliance or project success Qualifications: Bachelor’s engineering degree or equivalent professional experience Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel (O365 preferred) SharePoint (Online) is desirable Demonstrated ability to solve increasingly complex problems, work well in a team environment and handling multiple assignments simultaneously General knowledge of Information Technology disciplines Verbal and written communication skills About Teck At Teck, we value diversity.
