This enables the delivery of educational services to more than 560,000 students across 60 school districts and 1,600 public schools and facilities in British Columbia.The Senior Security Analystdelivers information technology security support and ensuring the ministry remains in compliance by responding to and/or assisting with information security and privacy breaches affecting the ministry and/or its partners.Job Requirements: Degree, diploma, or certification in the computer science field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Minimum three (3) years’ relevant experience developing and managing data security frameworks/architectures (includes during certification), preferably in a Microsoft environment. Minimum two (2) years’ experience leading technical investigations and handling multiple active issues, preferably in a large and complex environment. Minimum three (3) years’ experience in identifying and evaluating security risks from a business and technological standpoint, preferably in a large and complex environment. Minimum two (2) years’ experience in incident management and incident response., preferably in a large and complex environment. Preference may be given to applicants with any of the following: Professional designation as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or equivalent. Minimum two (2) years’ experience contributing to security architecture processes that enable the enterprise to develop and implement secure cloud solutions and capabilities that are clearly aligned with the business, technology, and threat drivers, preferably in a large and complex environment. Minimum two (2) years’ experience reviewing/conducting complex information security threat and risk assessments, preferably in a large and complex environment. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with Cloud based vendor assessments. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience evaluating Privacy Impact Assessments from a technology standpoint.
