Metal Window Fabricator: Harvey 2533 We are currently looking for an energetic Metal Fabricator 1 to join our Windows Department in Chilliwack, BC. The Metal Fabricator 1 (Windows) is responsible for reading and analyzing blueprints and engineered drawings to correspond with the required metal cuts.The Metal Fabricator 1 (Windows) will be required to use a variety of light and heavy machinery to make the necessary cuts and to assemble the fabricated components into complete units. Essential functions for this role are:Analyze blueprints and engineered drawings to assess materials needed and plan the sequence of tasks to fabricate products.Operate light machinery, including grinders, sanders, cordless drills, and a variety of saws.Construct fabricated components to create the final product.Monitor quality of fabrication.Adhere to all safety standards and SOP’s.Other duties as required. If you have the following experience, qualifications and skills, we want to hear from you!High school education or GED equivalent1 – 2 years’ experience in a related field is an asset, but not a requirementForklift operator certification considered an assetAbility to accurately read a tape measure.Manual dexterityBasic knowledge of fabrication as assetBasic mechanical and math skills This is a fulltime position Salary is open depending on current working experience Benefits package after 3 months
