Food Production Associate Food Service Worker

You will work as a member of our food production team. The team works to prepare the food components for the assembly line each and every day.
We operate 364 days a year and offer benefits after 60 working days. We do require weekend availability.
Rate of Pay
Starting 16.59hr – $0.50 increase after 60 working days
Move racks, tubs of product on wheels from oven and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control. Notify Supervisor if food temperatures are not within acceptable limits.
Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
Use portioning equipment to place food products into meal trays.
Previous experience in in healthcare, hotel, restaurant or fast food would be an asset but not necessary
Be physically able to perform duties assigned as per position description
Able to lift a minimum of 25lb repeatedly
Proven ability to work independently and take initiative
Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing work routines or priorities
Good English written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work as a member of a team
MUST ensure all documentation is accurate and legible
Must wear appropriate and job specific PPE
Be Punctual, flexible regarding hours of work
Must be reliable
Must be available to work weekends
Must be able to time manage independently
Any other duties as required
Hours of Work
Current shifts start between 7:00am – 7:30am and ends between 3:30pm – 4:00pm
