Western Equipment is the leading supplier of Industrial, Safety & Rigging supplies to BC’s logging, mining, and construction industries. Western Equipment’s is a family-owned business since 1947, currently operating out of seven branches in BC, our company is a major supplier and consultant to the province’s resource-based industries.
We are continuing to grow and we are looking for a hard working motivated Industrial CounterInside Sales Representative with strong character to professionally represent the products and services we provide.
Serving walk-in customers at counter, responding to emails and phone calls
Handling all cash sales at the counter and order picking for in-person customers
Develop expertise in products, applications and technical service ability (Internal training to support your career growth and enhance your skills)
Work with Branch Manager and Purchasers to provide customers with info regarding lead times and costs, maintain showroom, includes creating displays, sales tags and flyer displays.
Processing orders on the ERP system
Keep items stocked in a neat and tidy manner.
Monday- Friday 8:00 am until 5:00 pm.
Qualifications:
Exceptional customer service skills
Detail orientated and organized
Computer skills with proficiency in MS office.
Showroomcounter sales and service
Ability to learn our product line.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer serviceinside sales support.
Excellent active listening, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing, in person and over the phone.
Good problem-solving ability
Previous experience in our industry would be an asset. We will provide training for the right candidate. We are looking for a long term hire who wants a stable employment.
