Looking to gain clerical experience with a well-known insurance company? We are looking for a mailroom clerk who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for the effective operation of the main mail distribution centres for head office and main locations located across Canada.
As a Mailroom Clerk, you will :
– Receive, open, sort and deliver all incoming mail, output, and courier to the various business units within Canadian Division
– Prepare, sort, and ship all outgoing mail and couriers.
This role will also be responsible for performing tasks within the shipping/receiving department. This role will require lifting of up to 40 LBS. This is a very fast-paced day which requires on your feet duties all day.
-3 month contract with strong potential to be extended
-Gain experience in a corporate head office setting
-Shift between 8:00am to 4:00pm
-Start date: December 17th, 2018

– Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job; some heavy lifting of up to 20 lbs is required
– PC knowledge, including MS Office and Windows
– Excellent knowledge of mail metering equipment and courier tracking/delivery systems an asset
