Client Intake Coordinator – DT Toronto

We are currently looking for a Client Intake Coordinator to support our Global Financial Industry for Tax and Legal team in DT Toronto office. If hired you will work full-time hours on a 10-month assignment with possibilities of permanent, be paid $20.50 per hour:

Responsible:

•Obtaining information from our lawyers and paralegals to open files
•Conduct due diligence for new onboarding clients
•Prepare engagement letters and/or engagement emails directly with clients and/or with our affiliated accounting firms
•Create and update client records for new files and existing files
•Save all corresponding documents and information into a document management system for all staff to access when needed
•Comply with internal policies/guidelines and confidentiality rules
•Open new files in time & billing system, including receiving and reviewing requests for file openings, and ensuring the accuracy of information submitted
•Update time & billing system with new information
•Maintain the conflict check database, work with National Security and Risk Management Groups to ensure no conflicts exist between the law firm and accounting practice

Qualifications
•Intermediate MS Office skills
•Proficiency with Google Suite, Office Timesheets, and iManage would be considered an asset
•Aptitude to learn new computer systems
•Excellent organizational skills
•Great attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Dependable concerning confidentiality and policies
•Proactive, self-disciplined, self-motivated with the ability to work effectively under pressure
•High school degree or equivalent
